Two types of Shareholding Pattern

A. Shareholding pattern as per SEBI format

The Ownership/Shareholding limits in the Exchange are governed by Chapter IV of the Securities Contracts (Regulation) (Stock Exchanges and Clearing Corporations) Regulations, 2018. The shares of the Exchange shall only be dealt by Fit and Proper Persons as per Regulation 19 and 20 of the Securities Contracts (Regulation) (Stock Exchanges and Clearing Corporations) Regulations, 2018. The current paid up equity share capital of the Exchange is Rs. 50,67,60,000/- divided into 5,06,76,000 equity shares of face value of Rs. 10/- each. Thus, the maximum number of shares that can be held under the category of 'non-public' is 2,48,31,241 equity shares of Rs. 10/- each (49%). The maximum number of shares that can be held under the category of 'persons resident outside India' is 2,48,31,241 equity shares of Rs. 10/- each (49%).
